August Gerstner Ring Factory – Wedding ring expertise combining tradition and innovation
August Gerstner Ringfabrik in Pforzheim has been manufacturing wedding and partnership rings since 1862, making it one of the most traditional specialists in its segment.

For generations, the family business has consistently focused on the symbol of the “ring” – with a clear emphasis on precision craftsmanship, material quality, and technical advancement. Gold, platinum, and palladium form the basis of the collections, complemented by sophisticated surface finishes and individual design options.
INHORGENTA Munich 2026 will demonstrate how this long experience is being translated into current trends. The manufacturer will be presenting itself with a newly designed trade fair stand that emphasizes its creative orientation and offers space for professional exchange.

In terms of content, the focus is on several new products:
Colored diamonds add additional accents to the classic spectrum of wedding rings. Textured and faceted surfaces create new tactile and visual impressions, responding to the desire for more individualized ring designs. In addition, the digital configurator is being further developed to provide retailers and customers with more precise design options. A new precious metal alloy is also being introduced—a sign that material development continues to play a central role.

Continuity as the basis for future viability
Gerstner is thus navigating a balancing act between continuity and adaptation: the traditional symbol of marriage remains unchanged in its meaning, while design, materials, and technical possibilities are constantly being reimagined. In this context, INHORGENTA serves less as a stage for presentation and more as a place for dialogue—between manufacturers and industry professionals, between experience and future market demands.
