Review: INHORGENTA 2025 - It was great!
This is the conclusion reached by the exhibitors at the last industry gathering in February 2025. Despite unfavorable circumstances – the federal elections on the Sunday of the trade fair and an overall uncertain global situation – INHORGENTA was able to send a positive signal for the upcoming year in watches and jewelry.

„"For us, INHORGENTA in Munich is the most important trade fair for new products and orders for jewelry all year round. We meet the majority of our suppliers from Germany and Italy here. But the gemstone and technology halls also have their appeal, and the range of products is very large. Mühle-Glashütte x INHORGENTA 2025: DACH market, personal exchange, new products
That is what makes INHORGENTA so special for Mühle-Glashütte and deserves a grade of 2.
„As the main trade fair in Germany, it is the first highlight of the year for our independent family business and the perfect event to maintain personal contact with German specialist retailers, press representatives and suppliers,“ was the explanation.

„Furthermore, INHORGENTA is an important event for us to present our new products. Therefore, we would like to see further expansion towards internationalization in the areas of public relations and foreign trade. Special offers for international press and new media representatives could be a first step in this direction – which would surely encourage other watch brands to exhibit at INHORGENTA. The trade fair could particularly benefit from additional luxury watch brands in the area of mechanical timepieces. This would further enhance the quality of both the specialist retailers and the press representatives.‚
„"Opening the trade fair to private customers and watch enthusiasts would also be desirable from our perspective. An open visitor day on the weekend would certainly bring the event a lot of attention."“

Regarding trade visitors, Mühle-Glashütte still has room for improvement in terms of internationality, but otherwise they are very satisfied:
„"The trade fair primarily attracts industry professionals from Germany. Attracting more international visitors would be desirable. Since we actively invite our specialist retailers and partners, offering them, for example, personal meetings, the quality of visitors in this area is very high. Additional international visitors from the PR and retail sectors would further enhance the visitor quality for us."“

Junghans x INHORGENTA 2025: „Annual Kick-Off, Sales, Brand Communication“
Thomas Fiedler (Brand Manager Junghans) assigns this trio of terms to INHORGENTA – and a „solid 2“ as a school grade.

„The strong national acceptance of the industry and international stability are key factors in our assessment. Furthermore, the timing at the beginning of the year is well chosen and makes INHORGENTA an industry barometer for the entire watchmaking year,“ he explains his rating.
Fiedler, however, sees room for improvement in terms of internationality:
„"Internationality is somewhat difficult for us to grasp, as we invite our own distributors. However, the potential for new international customers does not yet seem to be fully exploited."“
Fiedler commented similarly on the exhibitor quality:
„"The quality of exhibitors at INHORGENTA is good when it comes to fashion brands. However, the quality of the brand environment could be improved for the premium watch segment. An increase in independent, German watch brands with international renown would be particularly important for us."“

However, he is „very satisfied“ with the quality of visitors to his own stand. All our top customers, just like our key accounts, are happy to come to Munich and attend appointments at Junghans.”
Thomas Fiedler also finds the supporting program extremely successful:
„"The supporting program is diverse and of high quality. The Watch Talks were well-received by visitors, and the after-work party is a great networking platform for relaxed industry discussions after the trade fair days. The INHORGENTA Gala was also superbly organized and a particular highlight for us this year, as we received the award in the 'Watch Design of the Year' category."‚

Alexander Shorokhoff x INHORGENTA 2025: „High-quality, industry-relevant, diverse!“
With these three words, the Alexander Shorokhoff manufactory describes this year's INHORGENTA and gives it a grade of 2.

„The trade fair was, as always, excellently organized. The atmosphere and the entire concept were of a high standard – appealing, professional, and meticulously thought out. Visitor numbers were also promising, although lower than last year. The influx of international customers and trade visitors could have been further improved,“ summarizes Inga Duffy-Shorokhova (Marketing & Art Alexander Shorokhoff).
The company was very satisfied with its placement in the Watch Boutique:
„The Watch Boutique presented a wide variety of high-quality brands and offered an impressive range of brands and presentations overall“ – however, Inga Duffy-Shorokhova sees room for improvement in other areas:
„"The international audience was somewhat sparsely represented. In particular, customers and prospective clients from Asia, America, and the Middle East were lacking. In contrast, the presence of visitors from Austria, Switzerland, and neighboring countries was gratifyingly strong."“

„"A noticeable increase in visitors from India was clearly perceptible, which was also extremely pleasing."“
Inga Duffy-Shorokhova
„The overall quality of visitors was good. However, the general visitor frequency was somewhat lower than last year. Some, primarily smaller, specialist shops were mainly present to browse and find inspiration, as neither their capacity nor the quality of their businesses was sufficient for a collaboration. We recorded the highest visitor numbers on Friday and Saturday, while Sunday and Monday were significantly weaker. The halls seemed quite empty, especially on Monday,“ said Inga Duffy-Shorokhova.

She particularly praised the supporting program of INHORGENTA: "A successful and varied supporting program. The after-hours event was excellently organized and, with great artists and a lively atmosphere, offered a real highlight."„
Sternglas x INHORGENTA 2025: „Diverse, inspiring, networking!“
The Hamburg-based watch brand encapsulates this year's INHORGENTA with this three-part theme. Dirk Proksch (Sales Director Retail Sternglas) gives it a grade of 2 (on a scale where 1 is the best).

„The trade fair was impressive in many areas, particularly due to the diversity of exhibitors and the high number of visitors. However, there were some minor organizational challenges that could still be optimized,“ explains Proksch.

„INHORGENTA 2025 had a very international focus, with exhibitors and visitors from various countries. This promotes the exchange of ideas and trends and makes the trade fair an important meeting place for the global industry.“

Proksch also has praise for the quality of visitors and exhibitors:
„"The quality of the visitors was high. Many trade visitors and decision-makers were present, which led to valuable discussions and networking opportunities. The exhibitors were consistently of high quality, with innovative products and engaging presentations. It was gratifying to see so many new brands and designs being presented."“
The supporting program was also pleasing, according to Dirk Proksch:
„"The supporting program was informative and varied, with exciting lectures and workshops that offered valuable insights into current trends and developments in the industry."“

Pointtec x INHORGENTA 2025: „We are already looking forward to next year!“
This is what Nathalie Birk (Managing Director) says Pointtec) and explains:

„"We look back on a successful participation in INHORGENTA 2025!"
With over 25,000 trade visitors from more than 100 countries, the trade fair was once again a significant industry event, and our stand was a central and always well-attended meeting point for partners, retailers, and watch enthusiasts.
The great interest in our new collections, which impressed with their design and concept, was particularly gratifying. The positive feedback, numerous discussions, and many orders confirm that we are on the right track.“

Movado Group: "International, fresh, motivating!"„
With these adjectives, Christoph Albers (Managing Director of Movado Group Germany) describes the company's first INHORGENTA participation, which has added another exciting facet to the exhibitor portfolio.

This was aided by the licensed brands BOSS, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste Watches & Jewelry and Ebel.
„We are looking forward to presenting our innovative products, concepts, and marketing strategies at Inhorgenta 2025,” said Albers in the run-up to the trade fair. And this anticipation was not disappointed, as he emphasized after the conclusion of the Munich industry event:
„"Overall, we really enjoyed the trade fair. Even more visitors would be excellent."“
The international aspect, however, was a complete success. According to Christoph Albers, it has "increased significantly. We are considering expanding our stand next year and also appealing to an international audience."„

Overall, he rates the visitor quality from the Movado Group's perspective as "very good": "Many interesting conversations, many good contacts." Apparently, they were so good and numerous that he "unfortunately could not take advantage of the supporting program due to time constraints."„
