The Giloy Group looks back on a successful INHORGENTA. The acquisition of Kühnel was also well received. Giloy now intends to expand its international presence this year.

Optimism despite the economic situation

Herbert Giloy & Söhne GmbH & Co. KG was represented at this year's INHORGENTA with the brands Giloy, bella luce, Furrer Jacot, and the recently acquired wedding ring manufacturer Kühnel. The managing directors draw a positive conclusion, despite the rather subdued mood in the German jewelry industry. Managing Directors Alexander and Daniel Giloy report:

For us, Inhorgenta 2025 was an inspiring trade fair. We were able to have many positive discussions with our partners and prepare ourselves both strategically and operationally for the tasks ahead.

In our assessment, the current situation in the German jewelry industry is rather subdued. Nevertheless, we remain optimistic and hope that this situation will ease in the coming weeks and months. Through the acquisition of Kühnel, we have been able to preserve another family-owned business, expand our brand portfolio in the wedding ring segment, and strengthen our position in the wedding ring market. This is another step in the right direction, and we are very pleased about it.

Popular designs and plans at Giloy

Management provides insights into the designs that are currently in demand for the Giloy brand.

Classic diamond-set jewelry, such as solitaires and eternity rings, as well as pavé-set pieces, are popular choices. In the wedding ring sector, both polished designs and textured surfaces are currently in demand.

The Pforzheim-based company Kühnel is embarking on a new chapter as part of the Giloy Group and will be working closely with the Idar-Oberstein-based company. But there are further plans. The goal is to further expand its international presence, particularly with the Furrer Jacot and bella luce brands. These two brands will represent the premium segment for Herbert Giloy & Söhne GmbH & Co. KG in the future.
