BA111OD – „CHPTR_Δ“

The model „CHPTR_Δ“ (read as Chapitre Delta) demonstrates real eye-catching qualities, its typical feature being an asymmetrical time display.

New to the line is the 40-millimeter version, available in various looks: a two-tone design in steel with a gold-yellow PVD coating (CHPTR_Δ.9), an anthracite gray version with a bezel set with natural black diamonds (CHPTR_Δ.7), and a similar version without the diamond-set bezel (CHPTR_Δ.6), as well as a classic steel model (CHPTR_Δ.8) similar to the 44-millimeter bestseller from 2024. Several strap options are also available.

The „CHPTR_Δ“ is characterized by the duality between the circular minute display and the hypocycloidal movements of the hours in the foreground, enclosed within a triangle. The latter progresses sometimes faster and sometimes slower – just as we experience the passage of time at different speeds.

„I’ve always known that something wasn’t quite right in watchmaking,“ jokes brand founder Thomas Baillod.

While the minute hand completes a full rotation of the dial in one hour as usual, the hour is indicated by a small dot that follows a hypocycloidal path within a triangle, representing a non-linear interpretation of time. This is made possible by the automatic movement with the BA111OD manufacture module 09310, featuring a hypocycloidal time display based on the Soprod M100.

The original idea for such a work came from designer Diego Böttger-Zevallos. Just have some fun: turn the clock—or a picture of it—upside down and look at it from different angles. Sometimes it says Module 09310, and other times, read upside down, it says "Module Diego." In this way, Thomas Baillod pays tribute to the original creator of the work, Diego Böttger-Zevallos.

Anyone who BA111OD Anyone who buys this watch automatically receives Swiss-made NFC technology or a smart sapphire crystal. This also applies, of course, to the 40-millimeter "CHPTR_Δ". This allows for a connection between the physical and digital worlds – if the watch owner so desires.

By scanning the watch, one's own business card or any predetermined link can be transferred directly to the other person's mobile phone via the NFC glass.

RRP €3,250 to €4,150.

Citizen – a striking and elegant diving duo

The Citizen Promaster "Professional Diver" model is known for its lack of understatement. The bold design of the unidirectional rotating bezel alone makes this impossible.

These two new models nevertheless manage to create a sporty elegance on the (diver's) wrist.

This is due to the glossy dial, which comes in two color variations: dark red and black – each with a trendy color gradient.

The new "Eco-Drive Professional Diver 300m" duo doesn't neglect functionality in the slightest and is fully aware of its purpose in the deep sea. Waterproof to 30 bar, it's well-equipped for this and also features a helium escape valve for saturation diving. Smooth operation is ensured by the light-powered in-house caliber E365 with a 365-day power reserve.

This new model series is based on the popular Promaster „BN0156-05E“ and adopts many of its characteristic design elements. These include the crown and crown guard at 4 o'clock, the shape of the indices, the hour and minute hands, and of course the look of the bezel.

A secure fit is ensured by a strap made of Benebiol™ (including a strap extension for use over a diving suit). This material is a biomass-based raw material for polyurethane (polycarbonatiol) developed by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation. It is incorporated into our watch straps as a raw material to achieve greater durability and environmental friendliness. It is hydrolysis-resistant in humid conditions, thus reducing its environmental impact.

Garmin – „Instinct 3“

Garmin can be found in Hall A1.100.

The new "Instinct 3" multisport smartwatch series includes, for the first time, models with both an AMOLED display and variants with a solar charging lens for those who prioritize battery life. Also new are the metal-reinforced bezel and the integrated LED flashlight.

The AMOLED models last up to 24 days in smartwatch mode on a single charge, while the models with solar charging lens offer unlimited battery life.1.

Packed with smart features, sports apps and 24/7 health monitoring functions, the latest product range is designed to accompany its wearer through the day and night – no matter what adventures await.

With a metal-reinforced bezel, a fiber-reinforced polymer case, and a scratch-resistant display, the Instinct 3 series is ready for any challenge. The smartwatches are tested to military standard (MIL-STD 810) for heat and shock resistance and are water-resistant up to 10 bar. The built-in flashlight, now available on all Instinct 3 models, offers variable brightness levels, a red light, and a strobe mode.

Both the AMOLED and solar versions are available in two sizes (45 and 50mm) and come in elegant colors as well as bright and vibrant tones such as Neotropic and Neotropic/Twilight, which are part of the new, limited „Tropical Pulse Collection“.

Sternglas – „Tachymeter 2.0“

You can find Sternglas in Hall A1.400.

This exciting new model from the Hamburg-based brand is inspired by 1970s motorsport and is a reinterpretation of the first "Tachymeter" model from 2022. A "cosmic" version, the "Meteor" with a multi-layer dial, was also released in 2023. Both versions quickly sold out.

To mark its third anniversary, Sternglas has unveiled its third version, which – as is typical for Sternglas – incorporates the wishes and suggestions of its own community. "We've opened the hood wide, improved every detail, and added many new features," explains Dustin Fontaine, founder and CEO of the brand.

The result is the "Tachymeter 2.0" with a detailed dial and a striking tachymeter scale. Available in either black/silver with fiery red accents or dark blue/silver with eye-catching bright yellow details, this timepiece boasts a striking design.

This is also due to the substantial size of the 44-millimeter gemstone case, which is water-resistant to ten bar and houses Seiko's Mecha-Quartz VK63 hybrid movement.

The hour and minute hands are driven by a battery-powered motor, similar to a quartz watch. The second hand and chronograph modules are driven by a second, mechanical motor.

The increased size of the "tachymeter" further improves the readability of the time and tachymeter scale, and the date window has been enlarged by 36 percent compared to its predecessor.

The bright Luminova coating on the multi-layer dial and hands also allows for comfortable reading of the desired information even in poor lighting conditions.

Mühle-Glashütte – „Sportivo Power Chronograph“

Mühle-Glashütte can be found in the Watch Boutique in Hall A1.308.

Last year, the Glashütte-based manufacturer introduced the "Sportivo" line, which has now been expanded to include a chronograph model.

The new „Sportivo Power Chronograph First Edition“, limited to 200 pieces, features the second modular movement developed by Mühle-Glashütte. It bears the designation MU9424-GR – the „GR“ suffix referring to the newly developed Mühle module, which expands the existing MU9413 chronograph movement.

„"GR" stands for the power reserve indicator. This is made possible by a complex mechanism located in a module plate on the dial side of the movement.

In addition to adding the module, Mühle-Glashütte made further modifications to the movement to clearly display the 62-hour power reserve. This required, firstly, a modified mainspring barrel with which the power reserve module is directly connected. Secondly, the mainplate, for example, had to be modified with additional holes and milled recesses on the company's own CNC machining centers.

Thus, step by step, a 29-jewel Mühle movement was created, featuring a particularly shock-resistant woodpecker neck regulator, a Glashütte three-quarter plate including a removable escape wheel bridge, a Glashütte ratchet mechanism, and last but not least, the efficient Mühle rotor.

After the components have been finished with Glashütte grinding and polishing, the movement is assembled by hand and elaborately regulated in six positions.

The watchmakers at Mühle-Glashütte adjust the movement so that its rate falls between 0 and +8 seconds per day. This in-house regulation is based on chronometer standards and is designed to prevent the watch from running slow. The motto of the Mühle-Glashütte company is that no wearer should be late because of their timepiece.

The stainless steel housing is highly robust and features a striking black IP coating (ion plating), in which titanium or a titanium alloy is applied to the housing using an ion beam.

In addition, it features a 2.2 mm thick, double anti-reflective sapphire crystal and an equally scratch-resistant ceramic inlay for the bidirectional rotating bezel. The 42.5 mm case is also suitable for outdoor use thanks to its screw-down crown with crown guards and water resistance up to 30 bar.

The new „Sportivo Power Chronograph First Edition“ is held on the wrist by a water-resistant leather strap with an alligator grain and red contrast stitching. This is additionally coated with a layer of rubber.

„The time should be recognizable at first glance on our watches,“ is the principle that guides the watch developers around Thilo Mühle.

The black dial features white hour markers generously coated with luminous material. This makes them stand out in sharp contrast against the subtly textured background, as do the striking, also luminescent, Dauphine hands.

The power reserve indicator and the chronograph function are subordinate to this fundamental function of the timekeeping instruments from the Glashütte manufactory. The former is located in a semi-circular subdial at 6 o'clock and is labeled "Up" and "Down." Traditionally in Glashütte, the power reserve indicator is called the "Up/Down" indicator. "Up" signifies a fully wound mainspring, "Down" a completely wound movement.

The chronograph function is designed for time measurements up to 30 minutes. Its 30-minute counter is positioned opposite the power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock. Its color also corresponds to the red chronograph center hand and the red-backed minute and second scales on the outer edge of the dial.

Three fine indices divide each second interval into four smaller units. This allows stop times to be read to an accuracy of one-eighth of a second. If the chronograph's central hand is positioned directly on an intermediate index, the reading represents two, four, or six eighths of a second; if it is positioned between these indices, the reading represents, for example, three eighths of a second.

The color scheme in powerful black and red – and the English term for power reserve – ultimately led to the addition of "Power" to the name of the Sportivo chronograph.

Poiray – „Ma Premiere Mini“

You can find Poiry in the French Pavilion, Hall A1.228.

Since its introduction in 1994, the „Ma Première Mini“ has been considered a symbol for Poiray's ladies' watches.

With its 21×18 millimeter case and iconic bezel, it embodies timeless elegance. Thanks to the aptly named "Presto" interchangeable strap system, the straps can be effortlessly swapped to match any outfit.

Two new models will be on display at INHORGENTA. The „Ma Première Mini Cadran Tressé“ features a rectangular case with rounded edges and an elegant, fluted bezel – inspired by the Art Deco style. The woven silver dial adds a sophisticated interplay of light and shadow. The watch is available in stainless steel and a gold-plated version and is worn on a light or dark brown calfskin leather strap.

The „Ma Première Mini Cadran Pastel“ features a sand-colored sunburst dial and a two-tone calfskin strap in honey and ivory tones. Subtle saddle stitching lends the design a modern and feminine touch.
