Less for Dress - Citizen presents ultra-flat quartet
One of the most important features of a dress watch is its slim profile. After all, it shouldn't snag on shirt or blouse cuffs with every movement when wearing formal attire. This is usually achieved with a thickness of less than ten millimeters. Citizen's new "Suratto" models significantly undercut this value, ensuring an elegant fit between the watch and clothing.
The four new dress watches from Citizen have a total height of just 4.71 millimeters: from the screwed-down case back of the 38.4-millimeter stainless steel case to the sapphire crystal protecting the dial – even for a quartz watch, this is an exceptionally flat design.

The limited space is filled by the in-house Eco-Drive solar power plant G872, which provides environmentally friendly operation and a power reserve of 210 days. The accuracy is +/- 15 seconds per month.

This is transferred to four dial variants in silver, blue, green and pink, to which the color scheme of the leather straps is matched.

The new "Suratto" models are by no means the thinnest watches from Citizen. The leader in this category is the "Eco-Drive One," which was presented to the watch world in 2016 with a height of just 2.98 millimeters: to this day, the thinnest light-powered analog watch in the world. The movement itself is a mere one millimeter thick.
