With the latest "MARQ" edition, Garmin once again proves that the company is more than just another manufacturer of smart devices. Designed as tool watches, the models in the "MARQ" collection impress with outstanding functionality and material quality.

The MARQ Adventurer Damascus Steel combines modern technology with traditional craftsmanship. The 46-millimeter case, including the pushers, is made of Damascus steel, a material considered the most valuable in the world for over eleven centuries. Its hardness and flexibility made it particularly prized. Even today, Damascus steel impresses with its robustness and unique appearance. Its production, however, remains a very complex process.

The case of the "MARQ" watch is created using a process in which ten layers of steel—each consisting of two different types of steel—are welded together, heated, forged, and folded. This process is repeated four times until a blank with 80 layers of steel is produced. The blank is then twisted multiple times, revealing the characteristic pattern. Only after machining and etching the watch case does this intricate design become fully visible. Each piece is thus made unique.

The MARQ Adventurer Damascus Steel combines this handcrafted masterpiece with modern digital features and classic watchmaking characteristics. The smartwatch boasts a 1.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen protected by domed sapphire crystal. The bezel, also crafted from Damascus steel, incorporates a 360-degree compass. The hybrid leather and FKM rubber strap is sweat- and dirt-resistant and can be quickly swapped thanks to its quick-fit mechanism. The battery lasts up to 16 days and can be fully recharged in just one hour using the magnetic charger.
