Promaster Sky RC 41 by Citizen – Instrument watch with (small) format
Pilot watches are usually equipped with numerous functions—and are correspondingly large in diameter. These instrumental timepieces often measure 43 millimeters or more.
Citizen breaks with this rule and proves with the new “Promaster Sky RC 41” that it is entirely possible to features such as 26 local times, a chronograph, a light-powered and radio-controlled Eco-Drive movement, and an internal slide rule bezel for flight-related calculations can be clearly and functionally accommodated in a 41-millimeter case.

The compact pilot’s chronographs come in three versions: in pure stainless steel with a black or blue dial, and in a gray-coated version with a dark green dial.
High functionality in 41 millimeters
Citizen presented the first “Sky” models with a similarly compact diameter in spring 2025 with the “Promaster Sky RC 41.” However, the new 41-millimeter models are now radio-controlled and equipped with an internal slide rule bezel for determining fuel consumption or tank capacity.

These settings can be adjusted using a second crown at the 8 o’clock position. Inside, the in-house H800 chronograph caliber beats, which can receive radio signals from an atomic clock and runs with split-second precision. Even when there is no signal, the accuracy is ±15 seconds per month.

The functionality includes a 24-hour display, battery discharge indicator, stopwatch, perpetual calendar, power reserve indicator, local time for 26 cities, world time, 180-day power reserve, 10-month dark power reserve, and solar drive (Eco-Drive). In addition, it features scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, magnetic resistance, and water resistance up to 20 bar.
