POINTtec presents watches for every requirement
POINTtec | Hall A1, Booth 114.
With its brands ZEPPELIN, Ruhla, and bauhaus Dessau, POINTtec Products Electronic GmbH has positioned itself as one of the most versatile suppliers of mechanical wristwatches “Made in Germany.” At INHORGENTA, the company will demonstrate how automatic watches can be offered across different price ranges—from deliberately accessible entry-level models to sophisticated timepieces with Swiss movement technology.
The approach is clear: mechanics should remain tangible. At the same time, it should appeal to different target groups—from design lovers and technology enthusiasts to watch aficionados. Accordingly, POINTtec has deliberately broadened its portfolio.
ZEPPELIN – Atlantic with a new price point
With the new ZEPPELIN Atlantic Swiss Automatic Power Reserve, POINTtec is introducing an important new development within the brand. The Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW279.2 is being used here for the first time. With this new caliber for ZEPPELIN, the brand is also entering a new price point: $1,499. The model is positioned between the well-known regulators and the chronographs.

The third generation of Atlantic also features a revamped, more modern graphic aesthetic. Clean lines, contemporary typography, and a balanced design underscore the brand’s commitment to combining classic aviation inspiration with contemporary design.
Ruhla – Space Control Sigmund Jähn
This model from Ruhla tells a piece of German engineering and space travel history – named after the first German in space. At the same time, it exemplifies the Ruhla brand’s claim to combine historical references with modern mechanics.

Inside, a Miyota 8315 automatic movement with a 60-hour power reserve is at work. This feature was deliberately chosen: the watch is “weekend-proof” and continues to run reliably even after two days without being worn. Priced at €449, the Space Control is positioned as a mechanical watch with history and high everyday utility.

bauhaus Dessau – Mechanics for beginners
POINTtec’s entry into the world of mechanical watches is marked by the new generation of bauhaus Dessau automatic watches. The current models are equipped with the proven Miyota 8215—a simple but robust and reliable automatic movement.

With a price tag of €299, these watches are aimed at design-conscious buyers who want to consciously enter the world of mechanical watchmaking. At the same time, POINTtec points out that both bauhaus Dessau and ZEPPELIN offer a much wider range of products, including automatic chronographs with chronometer certification and prices of up to €2,499.

One provider, many facets
With its brand portfolio, POINTtec is demonstrating at INHORGENTA that mechanical watches do not have to be an exclusive niche product. Rather, the company sees itself as a supplier of automatic watches for different budgets, design preferences, and technical requirements—consistently developed and manufactured in Germany, with a clear focus on reliability, history, and contemporary design.

POINTtec will be presenting its brands ZEPPELIN, Ruhla, and bauhaus Dessau at INHORGENTA 2026 in Hall A1, Booth 114.
