How MüllerKälber showcases craftsmanship

Before a piece of jewelry is touched, it is seen. Even before its brilliance, shape, and craftsmanship can make an impression, light determines whether a piece will attract attention—or disappear into the room. This is precisely where MüllerKälber comes in. For many years, the company has been addressing the question of how jewelry and timepieces can be presented in such a way that their quality is apparent without the staging taking center stage. The interplay of light, space, and object creates a stage on which craftsmanship does not need to be explained, but becomes visible – quietly, precisely, and effectively.

INHORGENTA as a stage for presentation skills

At INHORGENTA Munich 2026, MüllerKälber will demonstrate how crucial lighting is for the perception of craftsmanship with DLL1, its glare-free shop window lighting. The trade fair is a key venue for the company to exchange ideas with the industry:

“INHORGENTA is the ideal platform for us to nurture our existing customer relationships and, at the same time, be discovered by new customers. The trade fair is an international meeting place for the jewelry and watch industry, enabling us to present our innovative lighting solutions and display cases to an expert audience. After the excellent experiences of recent years, we particularly appreciate the direct exchange with jewelers and specialist retailers. This enables us to gather valuable feedback, identify new trends at an early stage, and work with our customers to develop the optimal presentation of their jewelry.”

When craftsmanship becomes visible

Under the theme of “Craftsmanship,” INHORGENTA 2026 will deliberately focus on the industry’s craftsmanship. For MüllerKälber, this means understanding presentation as an extension of craftsmanship. Light should not dominate, but rather support—and draw attention to the essentials:

“Our goal is to place even greater emphasis on our expertise in lighting and presentation technology for jewelers. We want to show how, with minimal effort and manageable investments, presentations in shop windows, display cases, and at the point of sale can be taken to a whole new level.”

Trends 2026: Staging with attitude

MüllerKälber has identified three key developments for 2026: increasing demands for staging, the growing importance of sustainability, and the desire for cost-effective modernization solutions. High-quality lighting plays a key role in this—it creates atmosphere, evokes emotions, and emphasizes the value of handcrafted jewelry without being obtrusive.

Technology that takes a back seat

The current solutions rely on energy-efficient LED systems, modular lighting modules, and plug-and-play concepts that can be flexibly integrated into existing store concepts. Particular focus is placed on lighting systems with a high degree of glare control: they ensure calm lighting and consistently draw attention to the jewelry and watches—not the technology behind them.

At INHORGENTA 2026, MüllerKälber will demonstrate how craftsmanship is also carried over into the salesroom: with precise technology, understated design, and a clear understanding of the craft.
