Gucci parent company Kering brings next automotive manager into management team
Last year, Luca de Meo, a former top manager in the automotive industry, succeeded François-Henri Pinault, who had been at the helm of Kering for 20 years, as CEO. Now, the luxury goods group has appointed Stéphane Noël from automotive supplier Forvia as Chief Industrial Officer. He will take up his post on April 1, become a member of Kering’s Executive Committee, and report directly to Luca de Meo.
The appointment is part of a new organizational structure with which Kering aims to counter declining demand for its main brand, Gucci, and become more efficient. The company recently reported a massive decline in profits and sales for 2025.
New organizational structure to get Kering back on track
The newly created organizational structure comprises the Industry and Customer competence centers. The aim is to optimize the Group’s operational efficiency and support the sustainable growth of its brands.
These new divisions are part of the group platform, which aims to provide all Kering brands with a unified framework, more resources, and effective levers to accelerate the implementation of their strategies, the group announced. In addition to Gucci, Kering also owns the brands Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo, Qeelin, and Ginori 1735. Their respective teams report to the centers of expertise.
The Industry sector encompasses the integration of purchasing, manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and research and development. Its responsibilities include the entire value chain as well as customer-related functions such as product and pricing, marketing, sales channels, sales and production planning, and data.

Carlo Mocci has been appointed Chief Client Officer for the Client division, effective May 4, 2026. After 13 years at McKinsey & Company and seven years at Amazon, he spent five years as Chief Business Officer at online food delivery service Deliveroo. He will also join Kering’s Executive Committee and report directly to Luca de Meo.
Kering CEO Luca de Meo comments: “I am delighted to welcome executives who are recognized in their complementary areas of expertise and who will accelerate the transformation we have initiated. Our brands are at the heart of Kering, and the Group platform supports their growth and performance. With these new centers of expertise, we are optimizing the organization, connecting teams, and ensuring Group-wide efficiency to give our brands the means to grow faster and further.”
