Inhorgenta highlight: Pointtec showcases Bauhaus innovations
Since the early 1990s, the family-owned company Pointtec from Ismaning near Munich has had its watches produced at the successor factory of "Uhrenwerke Ruhla" in Thuringia, which the company acquired in 2019. New products for its own brand, bauhaus, are also manufactured there.
With the takeover, Pointtec not only secured the traditional production site, but also the listed building in the Bauhaus style (picture left) erected in 1929 and the Ruhla Clock Museum located therein – and at the same time preserved all jobs in production.

To mark this acquisition, the watch brand bauhaus was founded, launching its first models in 2020. The timepieces are stylistically inspired by the famous Bauhaus design school in Dessau, and in addition to the well-known minimalism of "form follows function," they also incorporate the colorful phase of the Bauhaus movement.
Recently, the portfolio has also included sportier models, which are marketed under the "bauhaus aviation" line.
Pointtec: New Bauhaus models for 2026
Pointtec has announced several new products for 2026. The fifth generation of the "Eurofighter" series will be launched, having already been presented at Inhorgenta last year. The "bauhaus aviation" line will be complemented by new models in the existing "G38" series, which focuses on the early years of aviation.
In the classic Bauhaus segment, a new, puristically designed line called "Pure" expands the collection. It offers a wide selection of different watch movements.
The new products are rounded off by a timepiece dedicated to Lukas Wörle, the "bauhaus aviation" brand ambassador. The mountaineer and paraglider pilot is widely known in the alpinism scene – particularly for his spectacular rescue operation on Broad Peak in 2023.
„Now we have developed a watch that is specifically tailored to Lukas’ extreme adventures,“ explains Pointtec.
Bauhaus Aviation Eurofighter Typhoon
The Eurofighter Typhoon is one of the most modern fighter jets in the world. Designed for air superiority, it combines extreme maneuverability with cutting-edge technology. Its aerodynamic instability enables maximum maneuverability, supported by computer control, canards, and delta wings. The Eurojet turbines generate up to 20 tons of thrust and allow supersonic flight without afterburners.

In Germany, Eurofighter quick reaction alert squadrons secure the airspace and are ready for deployment within minutes. The pilots often complete their training in the USA, where optimal training conditions prevail.
The new fifth-generation "Eurofighter" watches capture the technology and aesthetics of this extraordinary aircraft. They feature a polished stainless steel case with a coin-shaped bezel, a retro pilot's crown, and large, framed hands generously coated with Super-LumiNova for excellent legibility. The chronograph's start/stop pusher is finished in red.

Three options are available:
- Automatic chronograph: 42-millimeter stainless steel case, water-resistant to 5 bar, Sellita automatic movement SW510Ha, dial in black or blue – RRP €1,999
- Automatic model: 40 mm stainless steel case, water-resistant to 5 bar, Sellita SW200 automatic movement, dial in olive or green – RRP €649
- Quartz chronograph: 41 mm stainless steel case, water-resistant to 5 bar, Miyota quartz movement 6S21, dial in black, blue dégradé, green dégradé or red dégradé – RRP €349
Bauhaus Aviation G38
What the Airbus A380 is to civil aviation today, the G38, built in Dessau, was in the 1930s: the largest four-engine passenger aircraft of its time. Due to its double-decker cabin, it earned the respectful nickname "Flying Hotel".
German engineering, the demand for technical perfection and the will to overcome limits made the construction of this aircraft possible.

The "G38" watch series embraces this tradition. With Arabic numerals, color accents, and a clear pilot's watch aesthetic, it stands for striking design and excellent legibility. Dials with tachymeter or pulsometer scales underscore the technical character of the models.

Four variants are available:
- Bauhaus Aviation G38 GMT: 42-millimeter stainless steel case, water-resistant to 5 bar, Ronda quartz movement 505.24.H – RRP €279
- Bauhaus Aviation G38 Day Date: 42-millimeter stainless steel case, water-resistant to 5 bar, Ronda quartz movement 517 – RRP €299
- Bauhaus Aviation G38 Chronograph: 42-millimeter stainless steel case in PVD champagne gold, Miyota quartz movement 6S20 – RRP €329
- bauhaus aviation G38 Dual Time: 42-millimeter stainless steel case in PVD champagne gold, Ronda quartz movement 6203.B – RRP €299
Bauhaus Pure
With the new "Pure" series, bauhaus expands its classic collection with particularly minimalist designs. Light dials, subtle color accents in gold and blue, and a wide selection of movements characterize the line. The models are available with mechanical, quartz, or solar movements.

Bauhaus Aviation Alpinist "Lukas Wörle"„
Launching from the summit of an eight-thousander with a paraglider – Lukas Wörle has been working towards this dream for years. The extreme athlete combines high-altitude mountaineering, paragliding, and ultra-trail running into extraordinary projects.
His endeavors range from 100-kilometer ultra-trail races in the Alps to expeditions in the Rocky Mountains and high-altitude mountaineering in the Himalayas.

Wörle gained particular attention in 2023 during his ascent of Broad Peak. Above 8,000 meters, he encountered a severely injured porter who had been left behind by another expedition. Despite the extreme conditions, he decided to attempt a rescue and pulled the immobilized man down towards the valley for hours until a helicopter was finally able to complete the recovery.

The watch, dedicated to him, was created in close collaboration with the mountaineer. The model features a robust stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, and a screw-down crown positioned at 4 o'clock to ensure maximum freedom of movement. The hands and dial are designed for optimal legibility under all conditions.
Inside, a Sellita SW200 automatic movement powers the watch. Water-resistant to 20 bar, this model is available with a black or blue dial – RRP €649.
