With a long history, a company's expertise grows in various fields. The jewelry manufacturer Frieden AG Creative Design in Lucerne embodies over 125 years of Swiss goldsmithing tradition.
From a producer of traditional costume filigree jewelry, Frieden has become a specialist in colored gemstones, diamonds, and pearls. Today, the company combines craftsmanship with in-house gemology and exceptional market knowledge.
The owners, the Aeschbacher couple, also run the multi-brand jeweler Bläser in Thun. Therefore, they are very familiar with the perspective of specialist retailers, whom they can advise and support accordingly: from planning and purchasing to presentation and sale of exclusive individual pieces and collections.
Gem investing with peace
The company's long-standing experience in the gemstone trade qualifies it for an additional service: Frieden advises on gem investing in natural-colored, untreated gemstones, which have experienced enormous increases in value in recent years.
Rainbow gradient
The jewelry manufacturer showcases its expertise in colored gemstones at Inhorgenta, including its "Rainbow" collection. The naturally colored sapphires from Madagascar used for this collection are rare. The company maintains its supply through close relationships with the miners who extract the stones without the use of machinery.
The manufacturer has the highest standards for the sapphires used to create the rainbow lines of its jewelry: only untreated, intensely colored stones of the highest quality are considered – less than one percent of production. Nevertheless, hundreds of stones of each size in varying shades are needed to achieve the impressively smooth color gradients.,
