Down into the depths – Aquaris by Junghans is serious about diving.

When it comes to sports and tactical watches, Junghans naturally brings to mind both classic and modern pilot's watches. And the "Competition" family, which revives the sporting spirit of the 1970s in its form and color.

Junghans hasn't produced diving watches for many years. That's changing now with the "Aquaris," which the company offers in both professional and leisure styles. All models are extremely durable.

The substantial stainless steel case, measuring almost 47 millimeters in diameter, features a protective guard on the side for the two screw-down crowns at 2 and 4 o'clock. The upper crown operates the internal rotating bezel, while the lower crown is used for setting the time. Water-resistant to 50 bar, the case also protects the automatic movement from magnetic fields with a soft iron coating. The J830 movement, exclusive to Junghans, has a rhodium finish; the train bridge, rotor, and balance cock were designed by Junghans themselves.

The „Aquaris“ is available in two basic versions with identical technical features, but different characters:

The "Diver" version, with its strong color contrasts on the dark gray dial, emphasizes the watch's instrumental nature. The visually dominant minute hand is also typical of professional diving equipment.

„Aquaris Red“ and „Aquaris Blue“, on the other hand, while equally robust, appear more as sports watches for all terrains, with brightly colored sunburst dials and bar hands.

All models come with two quickly interchangeable straps: one made of synthetic rubber with a diver's extension and a stainless steel bracelet with a diver's clasp. The latter can be adjusted using the ratchet adjustment mechanism developed by Junghans and an additional folding extension.

(RRP €2,690 („Aquaris Red“ and „Aquaris Blue“) or €2,790 („Diver“)
