Trend colors 2026: Turquoise tones and modern fluorescent colors for spring
The year 2025 is drawing to a close. We're slowly saying goodbye to Pantone's Color of the Year, "Mocha Mousse," and looking forward to the fresh, trendy hues the coming year will bring. Pantone won't announce the successor to "Mocha Mousse" until December, but is offering a glimpse into the spring palette. WGSN and Coloro are focusing on the shade "Transformative Teal.".

Even the renowned Pantone Color Institute doesn't decide on a whim which color will dominate the coming year. Instead, they carefully observe what's happening on the world's runways, for example at Fashion Weeks in London and New York.
The palette that Pantone subsequently released exudes lightness and good cheer, perfectly suited to spring, and offers plenty of room for your own creative color combinations. The wonderful thing about it: you can also make this spring-like palette sparkle with select colored gemstones.

Trend analysis by WGSN and Coloro
The World Global Style Network (WGSN) and the Coloro color system have combined their resources to determine the trend color of 2026: "Transformative Teal." This hue, perhaps described as a dark, bluish turquoise, conveys feelings of freshness, calm, and revitalization. The blend of blue and aquatic green is connected to the earth, representing realignment, change, and resilience—themes of our time that also play a significant role in society.
