The pre-owned watch market: between consolidation and upheaval - inside views from Chronext CEO Frederike Knop.

Among the most interesting interviewees at the Watch Talks at this year's INHORGENTA was Frederike Knop, CEO of the watch platform Chronext, founded in 2013.

Why is she so fascinating? There are several reasons. Firstly, she is one of the few women in key positions in the watch industry. Secondly, she was responsible for the strategic realignment of Chronext, culminating in its sale to The Platform Group last year.

To date, Chronext has assisted approximately 175,000 customers in more than 60 countries with the purchase and sale of pre-owned watches. And if Frederike Knop has her way, many more will follow.
