POINTtec: Innovations spring 2025

The Ffamily business POINTtec Based in Ismaning near Munich and with its own production facility in Ruhla, the company has focused on its own brand, bauhaus, for its spring novelties.

„"bauhaus aviation Eurofighter Typhoon"“

The „Eurofighter“ version is already in its fifth edition this year and is named after one of the most modern fighter jets: Typhoon.

This source of inspiration is reflected in two mechanical and one quartz models. All feature a polished stainless steel case with a coin-shaped bezel, a retro pilot's crown, and large, framed hands generously coated with Superluminova.

The chronograph (RRP €1,979) houses the Sellita SW510BHa automatic chronograph movement in its 42-millimeter case.

The three-hand version (RRP €599) with a 40-millimeter diameter uses the proven Sellita SW200 automatic movement, while the 41-millimeter quartz version (RRP €299) derives its precision for timekeeping and stop function from the Miyota 6S21 movement.

„"bauhaus aviation Tornado"“

In the late 1960s, several European nations were looking for a replacement for their aging aircraft serving in their respective air forces. After several years of development, the first flight of this joint project took place on August 14, 1975: with the Tornado.

The POINTtec "Tornado" series watches feature a classic, powerful pilot's watch design. The new models are equipped with high-contrast black dials with large luminous elements and are available with new movement options, including the Sellita SW500 automatic chronograph movement, protected by a 42-millimeter stainless steel case (RRP €1,979). The automatic date version (RRP €349) with a 40-millimeter diameter is powered by the Miyota 9015 movement.

In addition, there are two quartz versions, which in their 42-millimeter stainless steel cases rely on drives of the Miyota 6S20 (RRP €299) or the Ronda 505.24H (RRP €249).

„bauhaus aviation Titanium Horizon“

The new watches in the Titanium series feature redesigned dials with a striking horizontal striped pattern and large, chrome-framed segments, which, like the large sword hands, are generously coated with Super-LumiNova luminous material. The automatic Miyota 8205 day-date movement ensures reliable precision within the 42-millimeter titanium case. (RRP €399)

„"bauhaus Dessau"“

Clean lines and minimalist dials define the look of the "Dessau" watch series. Particularly noteworthy are the automatic chronographs with the Sellita SW500 automatic movement in a 42-millimeter stainless steel case (RRP €1,979), which are even available with the "Chronometer Glashütte Observatory" certification (RRP €2,499).

The series is complemented by three further automatic models with Miyota movements (RRP €279 or €499 with power reserve indicator or chronograph function).

The „Dessau“ range is rounded off by another chronograph version with an ETA quartz movement. (RRP €299)

„"bauhaus Smarty"“

This smart hybrid watch is an analog watch that, through sensors, a connection to a mobile phone and a small screen, has an astonishingly wide range of functions that can be controlled via the crown or the smartphone.

Numerous sports activities can be recorded, and tracking of calorie consumption, sleep, steps, and more is also included. Numerous notifications can be received and displayed on your smartphone. (RRP €249)
