Tutima Glashütte: Increasing presence - shaping the future

You can find Tutima in the Watch Boutique in Hall A1.312

At INHORGENTA, Tutima is embarking on the watchmaking year 2025 – and will be demonstrating with increased presence at its booth how the traditional brand is shaping the future from its home in Glashütte.

Since its founding in 1927, Glashütte has been the home of Tutima and the cradle of the brand's watchmaking expertise. Even through the turbulent history of the two German states, the Glashütte watchmaking tradition was successfully continued until its return home in 2008.

With an independent company in Glashütte, Tutima is now underscoring its commitment to shaping its future growth from its strong roots. Under the new management of Matthias Stotz, with an expanded team and the upcoming expansion on Altenberger Strasse, Tutima is literally further expanding its manufacturing expertise in Glashütte.

A watchmaker at his workbench and new models within the Patria line provide insight into the precision mechanical heart of the brand in Munich, which is one of the longest-running watch manufacturers in Glashütte.

„M2 Seven Seas S“

The watches of the „M2“ line embody functional expertise and meet the demands of professional users as well as ambitious sports enthusiasts – whether at breathtaking altitudes or on the open sea.

The "M2 Seven Seas S," newly unveiled in Munich, combines proven durability with new expressiveness. The high-quality FKM rubber strap echoes the dial design in color and texture—and, together with the compact 40-millimeter case size, ensures exceptional comfort. Pressure-tested to 50 ATM, with 2.5-millimeter-thick sapphire crystal and the reliable Tutima 330 caliber, the "M2 Seven Seas S" is in its element on land, at sea, and in the air.

Use the time

Measuring time is one thing—using it is another. Tutima Glashütte pursues both—and not only produces precise watches but is also involved in a wide variety of projects.

The watch brand recently introduced the "Mara Safari Chronograph," limited to 250 pieces, to support the work of the Mara Elephant Project to protect the gentle giants and their habitat in Kenya. This commitment dates back to the father of the current project manager, who wore a Tutima chronograph as a helicopter pilot.

Tutima's passion for aviation is also reflected in its partnership with the German Aero Club and the Tutima Academy of Aviation Safety, initiated by aerobatic pilot Sean D. Tucker.

Tutima also supports elite sports and, in 2009, founded the Tutima Sailing Team, which, as a 15-member women's crew, was crowned world champion in the Corinthian classification at the ORC World Championship. For two decades now, the manufacturer has accompanied the Kiel Week as Official Timekeeper and will make its first tennis appearance as Official Timekeeper at this year's ATP 500 Hamburg Open.
