The INHORGENTA AWARD 2025 ceremony once again set a high standard – innovation, design, and industry personalities were celebrated in the small Olympic Hall in Munich's Olympic Park. Winning highlights ranged from "Luxury Watch of the Year" and "High Jewelry" to "Designer of the Year.".

More than just an award ceremony: The award reflects the pulse of the industry – with a jury process that combines expert knowledge and a supporting program that adds glamour and significance to the award ceremony.

An exciting look ahead: The upcoming INHORGENTA AWARD will show how trends such as sustainable materials, digital concepts and emerging design will continue to establish themselves – and which new voices will conquer the stage.

On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the glamorous INHORGENTA AWARDS ceremony took place in the small Olympic Hall in Munich. With its modern architecture, the stylish venue in the Olympic Park provided the perfect backdrop to honor outstanding achievements in the world of jewelry and watches.

An evening full of highlights
Rebecca Mir, hosting the gala for the second time, brought her unmistakable glamour to the evening. The internationally acclaimed singer Ásdís provided a musical highlight with an unforgettable performance.

High-caliber jury
In 2025, the jury was enhanced by the addition of Joern Kengelbach, renowned watch expert and journalist (Swisswatches, Wirtschaftswoche). to the 2025 jury


Details on the 2025 categories

Mechanical masterpieces – high-end watchmaking with exclusive design and lasting value. Mechanical wristwatches with a retail price of €5,000 or more, distinguished by their high-quality craftsmanship and excellent design, are eligible for submission.

Criteria and conditions of participation: Mechanical wristwatches, sales price from €5,000, high-quality workmanship, excellent design

Impress with a special gemstone, an outstanding cut and/or an exceptional design.

All unmounted, cut colored gemstones (single stones, pairs & sets), diamonds, gemstone objects and gemstone sculptures can be submitted under the theme "Something Special". The use of synthetic materials is not permitted.

Criteria: Workmanship/grinding, special features, overall impression

Important information: A brief description of the submission and the gemstones used, including special manufacturing details, certifications/gemstone report including weight/size, and special characteristics (if applicable: origin and value). The jury will evaluate not only the craftsmanship (processing/cutting) but also the uniqueness and overall impression of the submission. The specific characteristics of the different gemstone types and sizes will be taken into account.

High jewelry is the ultimate form of art and craftsmanship. Only the finest metals and precious stones are used. The exclusive high jewelry collections impress with the rarity and uniqueness of the gemstones or pearls used.

Criteria and conditions of participation: Selling price from €30,000, precious materials (e.g. gold, platinum, genuine colored gemstones, pearls or diamonds), extravagant design, high-quality workmanship, a significant part of the work carried out by hand.

Jewelry pieces with a selling price of €2,000 or more can be submitted, including details of material, price and special features.

Criteria and conditions of participation: Selling price from €2,000, high-quality materials (e.g. gold, platinum, genuine colored gemstones and diamonds), elegant, timeless design, high-quality workmanship

Jewelry pieces with a selling price of up to €2,000 can be submitted, including details of material, price and special features.

Criteria and conditions of participation: Selling price up to €2,000, trendy design, high-quality workmanship

Any piece of jewelry can be submitted, including information on the material, design concept, and company. The winning piece will be chosen as Designer of the Year.

Criteria and conditions of participation: independent design concept, craftsmanship, high recognition value. The jury evaluates the coherence of the design concept based on the quality of the design, creativity, and original use of materials.

Any self-made piece of jewelry or self-built watch can be submitted, including details of material, price and special features.

Criteria and conditions of participation: Proof of vocational training or studies in an industry-specific profession/field of study, description of the idea and its production, and graduation in an industry-specific profession/field of study (no more than two years prior). The jury will evaluate the quality of creativity and craftsmanship.

Only one submission per participant is allowed in this category.

Any watch can be submitted with information on material, price and special features of the design.

Criteria and conditions of participation: independent design, innovative concept in terms of material, functionality, technology or design, high recognition value

In addition to the quality and innovative strength of the design, use of materials and functionality, the jury also evaluates the originality and novelty of the concept.

All forward-looking concepts for the retail sector of the jewelry and watch industry can be submitted.

Whether it's modern store design, private sales areas, cross-channel marketing, digital payment methods, a professional and appealing website, or business succession planning – take advantage of the opportunity and show the industry your innovative jewelry concept.

Criteria and conditions of participation: Retail store for jewelry and watches, market-relevant concepts with future potential, progressive ideas that are convincing and realistic, detailed description of concept, implementation and objectives

The high quality and prestige of the INHORGENTA AWARD 2025 will once again be ensured this year by a renowned, internationally composed jury of experts: Gisbert L. Brunner (watch expert and author), Leo Eberlin (jewelry designer „Leo Mathild“), Sarah Fabergé (Director of Special Projects Fabergé), Anja Heiden (Member of the Executive Board WEMPE), Martin Julier (Head of Gemlab Bucherer), Joern Kengelbach (Editor at large Swisswatches & Editorial Adviser Wirtschaftswoche), Patrik Muff (designer), Katerina Perez (founder and editor-in-chief), Christoph Stelzer (retail specialist Dfrost) and Stephen Webster (British jewelry designer).

Luxury Watch of the Year – Winner: LANG & HEYNE

The INHORGENTA AWARD in the Luxury Watch of the Year category went to Lang & Heyne with the Manufaktur Edition „Anton“.


Gemstone Design of the Year – Winner: JOSEF MICHEL KG

In the Gemstone Design of the Year category, a boulder opal split takes center stage.

High Jewelry of the Year – Winner: AUTORE

In the High Jewelry category, the winner was Autore; the name of the piece of jewelry is "Serpent".


Fine Jewelry of the Year – Winner: HANS D. KRIEGER

These earrings by Hans D. Krieger impressed in the Fine Jewelry of the Year category.


Fashion Jewelry of the Year – Winner: SEINERZEIT FLORA & FAUNA

The winner of the INHORGENTA AWARDS 2024 in the category Fashion Jewelry of the Year was SEINERZEIT FLORA & FAUNA with the piece of jewelry „Ms. Roxy“.

Designer of the Year – Winner: YANA NESPER

In the Designer of the Year category, the „LOVE Collier“ by Yana Nesper won in 2024.

Design Newcomer of the Year – Winner: THEA THIESSEN (Juwelier Laufer)

The winner of the INHORGENTA AWARD 2024 in the category Design Newcomer of the Year, named „Nautilus“, impressed with its modern and creative design.

Watch Design of the Year – Winner: PORSCHE DESIGN


The AWARD for Watch Design of the Year goes to Porsche Design for the model „Chronograph 1 Utility – Limited Edition“.

Next Generation Retail – Winner: blocher partners
